If you've been following along since the beginning of #theODLhouse, you know that creating the perfect outdoor living space was a huge "must" for Kristen Forgione, the Founder and Principal Designer of THELIFESTYLEDCO®, and her family. Her home sits on an acre of land, with the amount of space and mountain views being big reasons why they fell in love with their lot to begin with!
Kristen worked with Yardzen on the landscaping plans for both the front and backyard in order to create an outdoor Organic Desert Living® oasis. After they partnered on the design and Yardzen digitized the plans, Kristen made some in-field changes over the months of construction while working side-by-side with her local landscape contractor, Sherwood Outdoors, to bring everything to life! While it was difficult with our desert location, Kristen went with NO cactus or palms in her landscaping plans! She selected foliage in deep greens and muted tones all while avoiding bright greens to keep the overall feel of the landscape more Napa based versus beachy or tropical.
