Tucked into the White Mountains of Arizona, this 1,200 square foot A-frame has been a beloved family retreat since it was built in 1977. When a pipe burst in January 2024 caused extensive damage, our Founder and Principal Designer, Kristen Forgione, and her family were forced to take the cabin down to the studs. What could have been a loss became an opportunity to thoughtfully rebuild and reimagine the home, honoring its history while making it more functional for modern family life.
Kristen and her family preserved the original details like its soaring A-frame windows, tongue-and-groove ceilings, and Malm fireplace, while layering in rustic Belgian mountain influences, vintage charm, and subtle modern updates. Every space was considered for how her family really lives, with durable finishes, warm textures, and lived-in styling that feels both nostalgic and current. It’s a cabin reborn, ready for decades of new memories!
