#ThatWabiSabiProj

This home was designed with a Wabi-Sabi approach and subtle Japandi influences, creating spaces that feel calm, cozy, and intentionally layered. Roman clay and limewash finishes are used throughout to introduce depth and tonal richness, grounding the home in warmth and texture. Thoughtfully planned for a family of five, and a second collaboration with our clients, this 8,500+ square-foot home includes a guest house, double kitchen islands, a dedicated kids’ wing, gym, game room, and even a wrapping paper station! Built by Sticks & Bricks Development with architecture by Jim Blochberger, the home sits at the base of Mummy Mountain and reflects a refined balance of functionality, comfort, and timeless design.
